Seaside Heights is a resort community, with a beach, an amusement-oriented boardwalk, and numerous clubs and bars, making it a popular destination. Seaside Heights calls itself, "Your Home For Family Fun Since 1913!" Peak months are July and August, but the season actually runs March-October.*

New Jersey WILD Expo, 9/10 & 9/11

The New Jersey WILD Outdoor Expo celebrates the state's bountiful natural resources and rich outdoor heritage. The event is held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily the weekend after Labor Day each year at the Colliers Mills Wildlife Management Area in Jackson Township, Ocean County. The Expo is free of charge and takes place rain or shine.

Seaside Heights Half Marathon - Sunday, October 16

The Ocean Running Club’s 39th Annual Seaside Half Marathon and 5K will benefit the Tri-Boro First Aid Squad of Seaside Heights, Seaside Park, and Berkeley Twp. and The ORC Scholarship Fund. The flat, fast, out-and-back course starts at the Beachcomber Bar & Grill on the Boardwalk and continues into Island Beach State Park.
Race begins at 9AM.
